Supports daily hospital food and nutrition operations by assisting with food preparation, meal service, sanitation, retail and café support, and customer service activities. Processes customer transactions using point-of-sale systems, including accurately completing purchases, accepting cash and electronic payments, and following established cash handling practices. Contributes to a safe, efficient, and positive dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff by supporting proper food handling, service workflow, and sanitation standards. Performs assigned duties in alignment with departmental procedures, food safety requirements, and regulatory standards while maintaining clean, organized, and safe food service environments. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
