About The Position
White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in La Jolla, CA, is seeking individuals to join their dining services team. HumanGood is the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California and one of the largest in the country. Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with residents
- Available on holidays, evenings and weekends (we will work with your schedule)
Nice To Haves
- 6 months experience in related field preferred
- Fast food or restaurant experience preferred
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Set tray cards; read tray service memo, set tray line and dish up soup, dinners, salads, desserts, coffee, water
- Fill out menu; set tables for next meal; checks for supplies
- Assist in preparation of food
- Deliver and pick up food carts
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room and kitchen; adhere to sanitary guidelines
- Ensure resident satisfaction by reflecting professionalism and customer service
