About The Position
The Food Service Worker supports daily food service operations by assisting with meal preparation, cafeteria service, and kitchen sanitation. This role helps ensure high-quality food presentation, excellent customer service, and compliance with food safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly , including washing, cutting, measuring, and preparing ingredients.
- Support patient tray line and cafeteria service while maintaining food quality and portion standards.
- Prepare and restock beverages, condiments, desserts, and other cafeteria items.
- Deliver patient trays and assist with meal distribution as needed.
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions when assigned.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, food service equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans following established sanitation procedures.
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation procedures.
- Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide friendly customer service and assist with other food service duties as needed.
