This position helps provide quality customer meals through snack and meal assembly, service, and cleanup, assisting with various meal service activities. The role involves preparing and organizing assigned food items efficiently and accurately for patients and other customers, ensuring food is served in accordance with diet specifications and menu requirements. Key responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, pots/pans, floor mats, floors, and work areas following proper procedures. The individual will also stock storerooms, refrigerators, and work areas with supplies using the first-in, first-out principle and appropriate dating, and operate dish machines and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Additionally, the role may involve working the register, closing it out, counting money, and properly placing money and money drawer in designated locations.
