About The Position

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a dependable and knowledgeable Part Time Food Service Workers to join our team. Description: Serve food on cafeteria line, stock supplies, and perform food preparations as needed. Responsible for cafeteria cleanup before and after each shift. Operate iPad Point of Sale/Cashier. Report broken equipment and all maintenance concerns to Leads and managers. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Ability to work in both cold and hot environments. Exceptional customer Service skills. Work all areas of the kitchen if needed as well as other duties as assigned. Adhere to safety standards, uniform policies and scheduled work shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in the restaurant, food and beverage work force.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Must be able to efficiently read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and physical exam.
  • Must be able to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends to support 7 days a week operation.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual and able to work assigned shifts as directed.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Point of Sale Technology.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, walk and reach above the neck for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Food Service Handling certificate or ability to obtain within first 60 days of employment.
  • Experience operating point of sale equipment
