About The Position
Sentara Leigh Hospital is seeking a Full-time Food Service Worker (Floor Stocker) for its Food Services Department. This role involves rotating 8-hour shifts, covering both day and evening hours. Food Service Workers are crucial members of the food services team, providing support by delivering nutritious meals and ensuring excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. The position encompasses various responsibilities, including preparing and assembling food according to dietary guidelines, safety standards, and customer preferences, maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, washing dishes, operating as a cashier, fulfilling utility needs, and upholding food safety standards. The role involves working in different aspects of patient food delivery. A Food Handlers Card is a mandatory requirement in Norfolk.
Requirements
- Food Handlers Card - Certification as required by the local Health Department

Responsibilities
- Deliver nutritious meals
