About The Position

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Worker to join their team. The Food Service Worker will assist in the preparation, serving, and cleaning of food and beverages, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment for guests and staff. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

Food handler certification or ability to obtain within a certain time frame (if applicable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Ability to follow instructions and handle food safely.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move food supplies, trays, or dishes as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food service, customer service, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, beverages, etc.
Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring portion sizes and presentation meet quality standards.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and dishwashers as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of food prep areas, ensuring all food is stored according to safety guidelines.
Provide friendly, efficient, and courteous service to guests.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, or special requests with professionalism.
Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring food quality and service meet or exceed expectations.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of all food served.
Dispose of waste and recyclables in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the food service area, including dining rooms and serving stations.
Assist in stocking food items and supplies for service.
Help monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when items need to be replenished.
Ensure food storage areas are clean and organized according to health and safety regulations.
Adhere to all company and regulatory policies regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, and follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and preparing food.
Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues to management.
