About The Position

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide on the Southdale Campus in Edina, MN! This position is 56 hours in a 2-week period, on day/evening shift. Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays. Schedule Week 1 Monday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Saturday: 10:45 AM-7:15 PM Sunday: 10:45 AM-7:15 PM Week 2 Wednesday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
• Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
