About The Position

The Food Service Worker performs a variety of functions and tasks pertinent to the production, service, sanitation, and distribution of food to both patients and employees. A Food Service Worker may work in various areas of the cafeteria department such as patient tray line, dish room, pots and pans, sanitation, cafeteria and storeroom. This opportunity is Full-time rotating shifts (6am-2:30pm, 10:30am-6:30pm) with rotating weekends/Holidays

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • No formal education required.
  • Some experience in food services or hospitality industry preferred.

  • Certificates in Food handling techniques a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that proper food service is provided correctly to patients and employees.
  • Prepares and serves food in a safe and sanitary manner ensuring all safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Follow the assigned cleaning procedures and cleaning schedules.
  • Cross train in various food service worker positions and assists in the proper training and orientation of new staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
