About The Position

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide on the Southdale Campus in Edina, MN! This position is 40 hours in a 2-week period on day shift. Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays. Main role will be in the cafe involving stocking, cleaning, cashiering, and serving food. Schedule Week 1 Monday: 5:30AM-2PM Saturday: 8AM-4:30PM Sunday: 8AM-4:30PM Week 2 Saturday: 8AM-4:30PM Sunday: 8AM-4:30PM

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
• Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Restocking retail product in cafeteria
• Cleaning duties
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
