Primary Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review. Set up food on self-serving lines and portion food for individual servings in accordance with instructions. Refill cold bars, salad bars, pastry cabinets, condiments, juice dispensers, and set up dining rooms. Replace glassware, dishes and silverware and refill condiment containers. Wipe and wash tables and countertops. Clean work area, utensils and equipment; remove garbage; mop floors, walls, windows and tables. Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware from serving counters. Mix washing solutions and operate electric dish washing machine and wash dishes, glassware, pots and pans and kitchen utensils by hand. Additional Responsibilities Maintain in a sanitary condition equipment and work areas, utensils and tables. Perform ware-washing, and keep pot and pan areas in order prior to, during and after meals. Follow correct techniques, cleaning schedules and tasks. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No education or previous experience is required.
- Training is provided.
- Neat, well-groomed appearance is expected.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good oral/verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred
- One (1) year food service experience preferred
