Requirements

  • Must be customer friendly and able to speak English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a healthcare food service preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handles portions and serves food in accordance with menu and dietary restrictions.
  • Adheres to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines in the sanitation and maintenance of work area.
  • May plan, organize and serve food for large groups.
  • Covers, labels and dates all food products to be stored.
  • Works assigned tasks on tray production line including preparation of patient meals trays and items for meal service.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely delivery and picking up of patient trays in a customer friendly manner.
  • Follows department regulatory standards including hair covering, wearing gloves, dress attire as required.
