Food Service Worker (PT) Westmoreland Manor
About The Position
Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for a part-time Food Service Worker in our dietary services department at the rate of $17.00 per-hour! We are looking for energetic, quick-learners who are able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and cafeteria environments! This position requires variable shift availability, including weekends and holidays. Part-time food service workers should expect to work at least 24 hours per week, including weekend work, as well as commit to 1,000 hours per rolling year. There is a pension plan with this position that will require a minimum of 9% contribution! Contact us to learn more. The purpose of this position is to maintain the sanitary condition of the kitchen and the equipment therein. Part-time employees are entitled to pro-rated vacation and sick hours based on how many hours they work! Employees are also eligible to view and bid on full-time positions.
Requirements
- Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Must possess the ability to push/pull equipment, transport carts, climb ladders, and ride elevators as required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in food service and/or long-term care facility preferred.
- ServSafe certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Working meal tray assembly line
- Loading meal trays and transporting food carts to resident floors
- Cleaning assigned areas including dishes, tables, kitchen equipment, etc.
