Job Posting Title: Food Service Worker (Room Service) Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Rotating w/e's and holidays, 7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Assemble and deliver patient trays and nourishment Provide the highest quality of service to patients, families, and staff at all times in the preparation and service of meals Perform specific duties as detailed in the following Food Services positions: Tray-line Assistant, Salad Coordinator, Storeroom Coordinator, Relief Coordinator, and Hostess Utilize correct food sanitation and safety techniques in work areas as established by Scottish Rite for Children and applicable authorities
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Hospital, healthcare facility or large institutional experience preferred
- Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Dietary experience beneficial
- Must have excellent communication skills and experience with customer facing or patient service
- Must obtain Texas food handler's certificate within 30 days of hire
Responsibilities
