Food Service Workers are essential in feeding everyone within the hospital. They may help with: p reparing a patient’s meal tray for delivery , d elivery of meals to patient rooms , d ishwashing , s eparating trash/ recycle /compost , and r e-stocking supplies. Job routines require patient interaction, working as a team, the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and moving large carts throughout the hospital. Great attitude and navigation skills are helpful! Experience is preferred; however, this is a great way to join the UVMMC team and begin an amazing career in food service and healthcare.
