Food Service Worker Lead Job Description -- Ft Greely Basic Qualifications: Ability to perform and lead other workers in a variety of tasks associated with the preparation and serving of foods and beverages. Provide cleaning services within a food service environment. Knowledge of sanitation standards. Must follow and demonstrate set procedures in accomplishing repetitive assignments and follow established sequence of work. Must have solid work ethics. General Responsibilities: · Ensures and maintains good housekeeping practices for the dining facility. Essential Functions: Performs duties of Food Service Worker. Directs and/or assigns Food Service Workers in: The cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of floors, cleaning of woodwork, walls, windows, tables, counters kitchen and serving equipment. The washing of dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking vessels and utensils. Dining room bussing services as required and ensuring condiments and napkin dispensers are refilled. Clean and replenish beverage dispensers. Trash removal to disposal area and cleaning restrooms, entrance areas and back dock of dining facility. · Monitors, and may assign, breaks for Food Service Workers. · Promotes Safety. · Provides feedback on Food Service Workers' performance, work habits, and behavior. · Performs other duties as assigned by Project Manager or designated personnel. Experience: · Demonstrated history of related food service cleaning preferably with a major institution or the military is desired. · One (1) year experience in a senior or lead position preferred. Additional Responsibilities: Comply with contract requirements and Blackstone Consulting, Inc. rules and regulations as set forth in the employee handbook and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager or other designated personnel.
