About The Position

The Food Service Worker II provides excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff, aligning with the organization's and department's expectations. This role involves a variety of food service and retail support activities, including receiving, stocking, production support, formula preparation, meal and snack assembly, and delivery of food and formula to patients, families, staff, and catering customers. Responsibilities also include sanitation and cashiering. The individual must safely clean and operate various preparation, production, and sanitation equipment, and interpret, implement, and follow HACCP and other food safety regulations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • One year of food service, customer service or relevant experience; OR completion of 4 year undergraduate dietetics degree program
  • Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit obtained within 1 month of employment
