About The Position
PantherDining - Catering at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Food Service Worker I. This position is responsible for assisting with prepping, cooking, serving and working multiple stations, cleaning work area, utensils, dishes, storage area, making deliveries for multiple units, and performs general facility and equipment sanitation maintenance to follow local, federal, and state department guidelines. The Food Service Worker I promotes excellence in customer service and promotes the interest and mission of Auxiliary and Support Services. The individual will maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period. This position may require the individual to be cross trained for another position and/or responsibilities to provide both back-up for a department as well as supplement resources needed during certain times of the year.
