About The Position

The Food Service Worker I is responsible for various food and beverage-related tasks, emphasizing customer service and attention to detail. This role involves maintaining cleanliness in the food service area and ensuring food safety standards are met while providing a positive experience for guests.

Requirements

  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies, and energy.
  • Report to work on time and in complete uniform.
  • Maintain a cleaning schedule for equipment and facilities.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work a multifaceted schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive and depart in a timely manner.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service at all times.
  • Prepare and serve hot food as required.
  • Work as an expediter in the kitchen, keeping orders organized and ensuring timely delivery to tables.
  • Ensure accurate handling of all food products and equipment to maintain food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the food service work area.
  • Complete daily side work, including required logs, restocking, and cleaning duties.
  • Keep accurate accounts and spoilage records.
  • Work positively with diverse populations.
  • Handle guest complaints respectfully.
