CentraState Medical Center has an employment opportunity available for a Food Service Worker - Host/Tray Delivery. This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of food to patient rooms.

Keeps work area and equipment clean and sanitary at all times.
Sets up assigned area and maintains adequate supplies during shift.
Presents and garnishes food in an attractive manner.
Prepares food and beverages for all meals as assigned including catered events.
Assembles food and supplies for assigned departments and makes deliveries to units.
Stocks unit pantries following department specific procedures.
Delivers food trucks and individual patient trays to all units as assigned.
Stays up-to-date with all health and safety requirements.
Listens to customer feedback and responds to complaints in a professional manner.
Follows daily scheduled utility cleaning guidelines as assigned.
Adheres to State Sanitation codes and regulations.
Documents dish machine temperatures according to department policy.
Supports all utility positions in the kitchen including performing porter functions.
Maintains all assigned work areas.
Maintains clean equipment at all times.
Sweeps, mops, removes garbage throughout all kitchen areas.
Cleans kitchen equipment including slicers, ovens, fryers, skillets, hand sinks, etc.
Scrapes and washes all patient dishes, patient trays, and maintaining sanitary conditions for all cleaned items.
Cleans walk-in refrigerator and freezers.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Basic command of English language (speaking, reading, writing) and basic math skills required.
Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to circumstances and make decisions quickly.
