About The Position
The Food Service Worker at Kwik Fill plays a crucial role in the department's operations, ensuring safe food handling while attending to customers' needs and adhering to company operating policies. This position is available for both full-time and part-time employment, with pay rates ranging from $15 to $17 per hour. The Food Service Worker is expected to perform quality work within deadlines, whether working independently or as part of a team. A key aspect of this role is to provide excellent customer service, greeting all customers warmly and suggesting merchandise purchases to enhance their experience. In addition to customer interaction, the Food Service Worker is responsible for operating food service equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and adhering to the cleaning schedule for various areas, including floors, walls, and food preparation areas. Compliance with health department regulations and company policies is essential, and the worker must communicate any customer complaints, safety concerns, or violations to management promptly. The position also requires the Food Service Worker to follow security and safety policies, present a neat appearance in accordance with the company dress code, and ensure that all food products are properly coded, rotated, and dated. Regular temperature logs must be recorded every four hours, and the worker is expected to stay current on new food service programs. Overall, the Food Service Worker contributes to maintaining the high standards of Kwik Fill while performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.
