Food Service Worker/Delivery Driver
About The Position
This position will be working in the kitchen and delivering meals in the Carthage area. The Food Servcie Worker & Delivery Driver will be responsible for driving a company vehicle for an established route/territory. They will assist in the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations. Checking orders for quality and accuracy. Following proper delivery procedures. Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing as needed. Assist with receiving food and supply deliveries from vendors and restocking. Transfer supplies and equipment by hand or with cart as identified by supervisor to the proper location. Gather supplies required for each site as detailed on production sheets and order guides. Load, Unload, and deliver products and orders in a timely manner. Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on the company vehicle to the manager. Responsible for maintaining and keeping the vehicle clean This role includes physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time. Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
- One (1) years' experience in delivering products/inventory preferred.
- A valid state driver’s license for assigned vehicles is required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to transport and set up food and food service items.
- Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
- Strong team orientation.
Responsibilities
