Food Service Worker/Cashier - Part Time Days
About The Position
This position is 24 hrs/wk day shift with a rotating weekend requirement (Saturday & Sunday) Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for a diverse customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, physicians, other employees and the public. The incumbent is responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.
Requirements
- Work experience in Customer Service
- Be able to count money/change
- Manage the cash drawer
- Basic food handlers knowledge
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Requires knowledge of basic food safety; infection control and sanitation
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred.
- Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
- Requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.
Nice To Haves
- Serv-Safe certification is highly preferred
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
