Requirements

Willingness to learn and follow food safety rules
Enjoyment of working around children and school staff
High School or GED
Speak and read English
Be able to lift 40 pounds or more

Nice To Haves

Food Handling certification preferred but not required
Some experience helpful

Responsibilities

Manages POS/cash handling
Cashiers breakfast and lunch sales
Closes cash drawer and collects deposit
When not cashiering, prepares and serves food according to menus and in correct portion sizes as mandated by yield guides.
Performs cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of equipment and work areas, dishwashing and pot washing
Delivers, when necessary, food to staff, students and catering events.
Complies with all state, Federal, local health department requirements for safe food handling
Complies with all client location security protocols and guidelines
Checks and stores incoming supplies.
Follows assigned break schedules.
Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience
Work as part of a fun, energetic team
