About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team at a local Christian School. This position involves preparing, setting up, serving food, and cashiering for students and staff in a supportive, faith-based environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• A heart for service and a commitment to supporting a Christian school environment.

• Prior experience in food service or customer service is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Food Prep: Prepare food items in accordance with health and safety guidelines, ensuring meals are served in a timely and efficient manner.
• Set Up & Serve: Set up food service areas, arrange food items attractively, and serve meals to students, staff, and guests.
• Cashiering: Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, positive attitude, ensuring that students and staff have a pleasant dining experience.
• Clean Up: Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dining spaces, including washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and organizing supplies.
• Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and school staff to ensure smooth operations during meal times.
