About The Position

The Food Service Utility Worker at Compass Park plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be open to working late nights for events.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • 3 months or more of related experience necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transports garbage and recyclable material to assigned areas.
  • Accurately washes pots, pans, dishes, trays, and silverware following all standards and procedures.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen area.
  • Air dries pots, pans, trays, dishes, and silverware before stacking.
  • Sets up sanitizing solutions and follows guidelines accurately.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of sanitation procedures and maintains a clean working environment.
  • Follows Board of Health and department sanitation procedures.
  • Identifies and utilizes cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and sanitation practices.
