About The Position

The position involves carrying out routine tasks necessary in preparing and serving foods required for patients. The individual must assure competent, efficient, and timely performance of duties and assignments while complying with University Health System and Food Service Department policies, as well as safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations for the proper care and use of foods, supplies, and equipment. Meeting established daily deadlines with accuracy and quality performance is essential. Additionally, maintaining excellent guest and working relations is a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• High School graduation or its equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of health care, cafeteria, or restaurant food service experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish speaking is preferred.
