About The Position

The Food Service Team Leader at Target is responsible for leading the Food & Beverage team to ensure a consistent experience for guests by managing product freshness, inventory accuracy, and food safety. This role involves planning daily and weekly workloads, leading a team of hourly team members, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The position requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to meet business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18 or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.
• Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand sales goals and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
• Assess Food Service areas to ensure food safety and proper inventory levels.
• Follow all food safety requirements and cleaning routines.
• Lead team to uphold and maintain all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards.
• Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes.
• Model a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up.
