About The Position

Come and join our team! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join a growing healthcare facility in the Tyler, TX area Monday -Friday + every other weekend | Roating Shift - 6am-3pm, 10am-6pm 12pm-8:30pm Pay: $18-$20 Duties Supervise daily operations in the food service area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage food production processes, including cooking, preparation, and presentation of meals. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Train and mentor staff in food handling techniques, customer service, and kitchen management practices. Coordinate shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that meet dietary requirements and customer preferences. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed. Skills Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a fast-paced environment. Strong management skills with experience in supervising staff in a food service or restaurant setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Experience in hospitality management or kitchen management is highly desirable. Familiarity with dietary department operations and catering services is a plus. Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Background in banquet experience or barista/coffee service is advantageous. Culinary experience is preferred, along with a passion for the food industry.
