The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food & Nutrition Services is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to supervise the performance of general service staff in designated areas, and enforces departmental work guidelines and policies/procedures. Requirements
- High School graduation or equivalent and two years of directly related food distribution experience; or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution
- Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any conviction history and will be subject to a criminal background check.
- This position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate staffing, food quality, schedules, and quality assurance records
- Complete assigned forecasting
- Order menu items to meet demand
- Assist in providing food service as needed
- Attend assigned meetings and conducts staff meetings
