About The Position

The Food Service Shipping/Receiving Support role is responsible for maintaining the daily inventory of equipment and pulling CCBF equipment by work order for shipment. This position requires operation of PIT equipment to store and organize inventory and ensures accurate receiving, verification, and documentation of all incoming equipment.

Requirements

  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to read, speak and write English and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be able to take direction from leadership and complete tasks with minimum supervision
  • Flexibility to work early morning or late evenings or as departmental needs require.
  • Ability to operate handheld scanner and company computer
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience warehouse/forklift/assembly/recycling experience preferred.
  • Experience operating a forklift preferred.
  • Repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.
  • Work performed on cement floors in a warehouse environment.
  • Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight
  • Ability to operate assigned equipment
  • Ability to verbally communicate to exchange information.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Maintains a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment, (PPE) ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment when not in use, using proper signage while working, etc.
  • Move product and/or materials manually as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-speed industrial environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all company safety rules.
  • Operate industrial vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of Fountian equipment, accessories, and shelf glides.
  • Pull equipment and accessories in accordance with the Work Order.
  • Store equipment in pallet racks or stack using company PIT.
  • Verify and receive new equipment as it is unloaded from the trailer
  • Organize equipment by product line and model, verify counts, and enter data into system.
  • Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clear, safe and orderly condition.
  • Complete additional task assigned by leadership.
