Ready to be part of something special? Join our Family! Responsible for managing, motivating and training of a Foodservice Broker team in the Northeast. Direct contact to all Tier 1, 2 & 3 distributors and major operators. Prior Foodservice experience is required. A successful history of calling on Operators and Distributors is preferred. Overnight travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Business, Economics, Marketing, or Finance preferred.
  • 8-10 years Foodservice experience required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and motivating a large broker sales team required.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel; PowerPoint; Word).
  • Knowledge of distributor and operator foodservice environment and an ability to analyze sales data and develop action plans that deliver company objectives.
  • Familiarity with P&L’s
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well within a high functioning team environment
  • Passion for the business and your team-mates

Responsibilities

  • Attain assigned sales objectives and profitably grow B&G product sales in a manner consistent with company goals and objectives.
  • Assign sales and trade spend objectives with a broker team and assist in delivering those objectives.
  • Manage a region trade fund budget to insure appropriate spends that help deliver company financials.
  • Proactively work cross-functionally to develop, execute and deliver on regional objectives and opportunities.
  • Conduct broker training to improve product knowledge, reinforce priorities and trade spend management.
  • Work-with Broker representatives on end user calls.
  • Assist in National / Regional trade shows. Including setting up and taking down show booths.
  • Establish and manage distributor programs while maximizing trade spend efficiencies through effective management of assigned budgets.
  • Ensure smooth transition and integration of any acquired brands.
