About The Position

Fresh Take Grocery is looking for a Food Service Manager to lead our Food Service department with excellence and innovation. This role involves overseeing all food preparation for the production kitchen, pizza and pasta bar, hot food service, barbecue shack, restaurant cooking, packaged food production, utility areas, and catering food preparation. The Food Service Manager ensures the highest standards of freshness, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values efficiency and effectiveness, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for both our guests and team members.

Requirements

Proven experience in Food Service management
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to meet and exceed sales and profit goals
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Food Service production experience
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality
Must be at least 18 years of age
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Foster a positive work environment and maintain staff morale
Manage and direct all Food Service production and ensure a positive customer service experience
Oversee and manage weekly schedules for department supervisors
Oversee ordering of supplies and products for the department, including food, packaging, cleaning supplies, and equipment needs for all Food Service areas
Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards, including maintaining accurate cook and cool log data, cleaning schedules, and food and human safety standards and practices
Achieve and maintain gross profit and sales goals
Follow merchandising plans set forth by the Store Manager
