The Food Service Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the University of North Texas' mission by delivering a high-quality campus dining experience. This position oversees all kitchen and dining operations within West Dining, an Allergen-Friendly dining hall designed to provide safe, inclusive meal options for students with food allergies and specialized dietary needs. The manager ensures that West Dining maintains a culture of culinary excellence, exceptional customer service, and operational integrity while supporting a service model centered on safety, transparency, and nutrition. They cultivate a welcoming and efficient environment where every student, faculty member, and guest is treated with respect and hospitality. By upholding rigorous standards for food quality, allergen control, safety, and cleanliness, including strict adherence to HACCP guidelines and all Standard Operating Procedures. The Food Service Manager ensures that every visit to West Dining meets or exceeds expectations and supports UNT's commitment to providing accessible and inclusive dining experiences.
