Share your vision and inspire others by working with Sodexo Healthcare! The Food Service Manager 3 position is located at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. This leader will be responsible for a dynamic group of employees supporting Nutrition Services. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.

Requirements

  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
  • passion for our patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily
  • strong management skills, preferably in healthcare.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with oversight of diet offices, preferred

Responsibilities

  • evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction
  • oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery
  • collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience
  • perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy
  • perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.
  • create and deliver innovative and enriching cafe experiences for patients, family and staff daily
  • deliver high quality food service
  • mentor, develop, and retain frontline staff.
