About The Position

Sodexo is hiring a Food Service Manager 2 for Harmony Schools in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. The Food Service Manager will work with their team to implement and maintain Sodexo programs/systems/procedures. This is a key leadership role in establishing and maintaining an exceptionally high level of food service operational standards. Working for Sodexo will provide you with the opportunity to contribute your skills to a company that strives to enhance the learning environment for students. Valid Driver's License Required.

Requirements

• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills
• previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
• previous experience working within a K-12 environment
• culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
• can manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication skills
• passion for a high level of customer service
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities

• have oversight of day-to-day operations
• ensure Sodexo and National School Lunch (NSLP)/USDA standards are met
• deliver high quality food service
• provide employee training and development
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• assist in the development and implementation of strategic/marketing plans
• create a positive working environment
