About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Food Service Manager 1 to support the Nutrition Department at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA. This 145-bed community hospital is located 45 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. Uniontown Hospital is a compassionate, dedicated community hospital providing a full range of medical care to residents of Fayette County and the surrounding areas for more than a century. This position will work heavily with the Clinical Nutrition Department on patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• Associates or bachelor's degree in nutrition and Dietetics (or in process)
• DTR, NDTR, or CNM preferred
• A good knowledge base of diet and related medical nutrition therapies
• Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse population and collaborate in a team environment
• Good time management skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient satisfaction rounds
• Conduct meal rounds and tray audits
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction
• Participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees and other nutrition related tasks
