About The Position

The Food Service Lead in the Dietary Department at Resurrection Medical Center is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Food and Nutrition Department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies. This role includes performing clerical support duties necessary for optimal patient care, ensuring safety and efficiency of food prepared in the department, and compliance with policies and procedures. The position also involves a variety of patient and non-patient food service duties, including tasks related to patient tray service and cafeteria and catering functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization within the first 60 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Two (2) years of experience in food service operations.
  • Ability to use PC.
  • County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.

Responsibilities
