About The Position

THIS IS A SUBSTITUTE POSITION. Hours per day can range from 2 -6 hours depending on need. Duties: Prepares and portions daily school menu production items as specified by unit manager. Assists with pots and pans, general kitchen clean up, serving food to students and ware-washing. Responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary work areas. Acts as cashier. Helps with inventory. May be assigned to any and all aspects of school food service operations. If you would like to e arn extra spending money, work flexible hours, have summers and holiday breaks off, work while the kids are at school and become a member of the NYS Retirement System, then this is the position for you!
