About The Position

DSR Role and Responsibility: To call on and maintain and grow existing customers. Also, to open up new accounts throughout the year. Report to District Sales Manager. We are seeking individuals that are self-motivated, organized, and committed to a profession in a values driven-family owned business.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience or college degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Background in the restaurant industry, or sales
  • Self-starter
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Reside in the geographic vicinity of the territory
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Foodservice sales- anywhere food is consumed away from home; Restaurants, Clubs, Healthcare, Schools, Institutions, Delis and Cafés
  • Open and maintain new accounts
  • Make weekly sales calls on customers and prospects, building customer relationships
  • Offer and oversee product demonstrations, with Corporate Chef and Specialists
  • Utilize consultative selling with the aid of company ads and information
  • Maintain accounts receivables in accordance with the customers agreed upon terms
  • Utilize our mix of products to meet the need of the customer
  • Maintain sales records on accounts, price quotes, menu ideas
  • Processing orders on a tablet/laptop
