About The Position

The Food Service Director at Eurest is a leadership role focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences in corporate settings. This position emphasizes client relationship management, operational excellence, and innovative marketing strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency. The director will oversee dining services operations, manage a team, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while driving client satisfaction and business growth.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; A.A. Degree plus four years of related experience will also be considered.
  • Five to seven years of operational management experience in food service, focusing on client relationship management, marketing, inventory control, and purchasing.
  • Strong understanding of food and catering trends, quality improvement, and sanitation standards, as well as experience in P&L management and contract-managed services.
  • Demonstrated success in managing, developing, and coaching teams, with strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, other computer programs, and company-specific systems for operational reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Dining Services operations, ensuring alignment with client expectations and cultivating strong client relationships.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, advocating for their needs and driving customer satisfaction through tailored solutions.
  • Employ marketing strategies to enhance dining services' visibility and appeal, catering to diverse audiences through various initiatives.
  • Implement and manage quality improvement initiatives to elevate customer satisfaction and ensure engagement and loyalty.
  • Supervise, train, and develop a team of salaried managers and hourly associates, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, focusing on maximizing profitability and cost-efficiency, ensuring P&L accountability.
  • Oversee the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages, maintaining rigorous standards of quality, safety, and sanitation.
  • Utilize company systems to produce essential reports that inform decision-making and support operational improvements.
