Check out our website: https://forefronthealthcare.com/ As the Delivery Driver your Duties will be: As a Forefront delivery driver, you are the main liaison between the food service department and our valued partners at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health! You will be directly responsible for delivering Patient Snacks & Meals to our Patient Units in a professional and timely manner. We are looking for energetic individuals with a great attitude! This role will require you to ensure that the Patient Meal Carts and Snacks are delivered to the correct location, and during the correct time window. In this customer and patient-facing role, you will ensure the highest quality of service from Kitchen to Patient Unit.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • You must have a valid driver’s license
  • You're able to problem-solve and think on your feet (A.K.A. a mental juggler)
  • You excel at independent, unsupervised work
  • You're highly communicative - no question is too small to ask!
  • You're highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
  • Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
  • Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
  • Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Adheres to all quality guidelines
  • Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
  • This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
  • This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Responsibilities

  • delivering Patient Snacks & Meals to our Patient Units in a professional and timely manner
  • ensure that the Patient Meal Carts and Snacks are delivered to the correct location, and during the correct time window
  • ensure the highest quality of service from Kitchen to Patient Unit
  • Following the best practices & hospital policies for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage
  • Perform other duties as assigned including other areas in the kitchen
