Food Service Custodian Job Description: The Food Service custodian is a flexible individual who can assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the food service department. The candidate should enjoy working in a school environment.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred but not required
• Prior cafeteria or food industry experience, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, cleaning floors.
• Cleans food production area, serving area and sitting area during and after meal service.
• Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Performs all other kitchen duties as required including assisting in the serving of food items when necessary
• Provides services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient man.
