About The Position

Under the supervision of the Executive Chef/Sous Chef, the Food Service Coordinator/Dishwasher hybrid role ensures the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, manages dishwashing operations, and oversees presentation of food, including pantry, bakery, and salad bar items. This role requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and efficiency while complying with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized dish area and properly wash, sort, and store all dishes, utensils, and cookware.
  • Keep kitchen floors, work areas, and trash management clean and compliant throughout shifts.
  • Safely handle and use approved cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
  • Set up, break down, and restock food stations for scheduled mealtimes.
  • Prepare, label, rotate, and store food items following all health and safety standards.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, dining areas, and sanitation stations.
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries efficiently.
  • Collaborate professionally with leadership and team members while following all cleaning and organizational duties.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support our mission.
