About The Position

Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio gear and musical equipment, is seeking a motivated and friendly, customer-facing food service cook for the team in our Upbeat Diner. Sweetwater’s scratch kitchen plays a significant role in exemplifying Sweetwater’s values - providing excellent diner service, and professional customer service to both internal and external customers. The Upbeat Diner offers breakfast, lunch, and items made to order to the 1500 customers that choose to dine with Sweetwater. The ideal candidate would bring previous kitchen experience or a deep desire to learn from classically trained chefs. Requirements

Strong customer service skills in all of our service areas
Flexibility with scheduling between our two dining locations
Multitasking capabilities and a fast pace
High standards for organization and cleanliness in the kitchen, dish area and dining areas
Ability to execute basic cooking techniques
Prepare and set food for service using established procedures, standards and recipes

Responsibilities

Responsible for prepping and cooking food from scratch in our diner
Cleaning and sanitizing prep areas in the kitchen on a daily basis
Serving customers and taking orders while ensuring that each customer receives their specific order accurately and in a timely manner.
