Job Title: Food Service Clerk Department: Food Service Reports To: Food Service Manager FLSA Status: Nonexempt Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Food Service Clerk serves prepared goods to customers at the Food Service counter by performing the following duties (other duties may be assigned):

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Responsibilities

• Serves customers at the Food Service counter by listening to the request and obtaining the desired product.
• Answers the telephone and takes orders when necessary.
• Itemizes prices for counter goods.
• Proper use of slicer to cut weighable product required.
• Wraps and/or boxes and labels product.
• Makes sandwiches and prepares lunch and dinner specials.
• Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on the counter and tables to promote sales.
• Stocks and replenishes products, napkins, condiments, waxed paper, and any other items at the Food Service counter needed to provide excellent customer service.
