About The Position

The Child Nutrition Assistant position is a full-time role within the Food Service - Child Nutrition Department. This itinerant position requires travel between various sites and involves a rotation of duties including preparing, cooking, and serving foods, as well as cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and machines. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, storage, and some stocking duties.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Must be physically present and working in the building.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve foods including baking, main dishes, salads, and cashier duties.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and machines.
• Manage inventory, storage, and perform some stocking duties.
