About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Food Service Cafe Associate to join our team in Chagrin Falls. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patrons, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized cafe environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. As a Food Service Cafe Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience at our cafe.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a customer service or food service role
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a cafe or coffee shop environment
• Barista certification
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems
• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take their orders in a friendly and efficient manner
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
