About The Position

Food City is seeking a Food Service Associate in Clinton, TN. The essential job functions include ensuring efficient and courteous customer service, maintaining a positive attitude, and creating a friendly atmosphere through teamwork. Responsibilities include preparing quality food products, making sandwiches, assisting with the hot bar, slicing meats and cheese, serving food and drinks, taking telephone orders, and keeping the workstation clean. Associates will also assist in stocking and proper rotation of products and are expected to be cross-trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce quality food and products.

• Keep workstation and area around workstation neat and clean.
• Assist in making sure that all package products for self-service are properly packaged.
• Follow company Food Safety program.
• Assist in stocking and proper rotation of products.
• Be cross-trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
