About The Position

Food & Nutrition Associate - Full Time Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Commercial Food Service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for education.
  • Ability to obtain Food Handler certificate after hired is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial Food Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Washing dishes, pots and pans, clean work areas, equipment, floors and other duties as assigned.
  • Food prep, serving, and delivery for patients, cafeteria and catering.
  • Run cash register.
  • Stock kitchen, cafeteria and patient areas.
  • Put away deliveries of food and supplies using FIFO rotation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, promote teamwork with great communication (both orally and written).
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
  • Learn and follow policies and procedures to meet department standards.
  • Practice safe food handling.
  • Perform heavy physical work throughout shift.
